Bengal & British Shorthair Kittens for Sale in Hong Kong: Apartment Living, Import Rules & Health Papers

Buying a pedigree Bengal or British Shorthair kitten in Hong Kong — breed fit for high-rise flats, AFCD import rules, health papers and how to reserve your kitten.

Pedigree cats in Hong Kong

From Mid-Levels to Kowloon and the New Territories, pedigree cats are a popular choice for Hong Kong families and expats. British Shorthairs are calm, quiet and well suited to compact flats. Bengals are energetic and smart, ideal for owners who enjoy playing and training.

Making a high-rise flat kitten-safe

Fit secure netting on all windows and balconies before your kitten arrives — this is the single most important safety step in Hong Kong. Provide vertical space with cat trees and shelves, and keep cables and small objects out of reach.

Air-conditioning and a dehumidifier help thick-coated British Shorthairs stay comfortable in summer.

Importing a kitten into Hong Kong

Cats entering Hong Kong need a special permit from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD), a microchip, vaccinations and an official veterinary health certificate. Quarantine depends on the country the cat travels from.

Always confirm the latest AFCD requirements before travel. We are happy to go through timings and documents with you on WhatsApp.

What comes with your kitten

Each kitten has a vet health check, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, a microchip and a multi-generation pedigree. Parents are screened for HCM, and Bengals for PK-def and PRA-b. Your full document pack is released once your kitten is secured.
